WordPress 2.1 ist heute veröffentlicht worden. Wir haben die Beta ja schon eine Weile auf eine-handvoll.de im Einsatz und ich muss sagen das ich von den Änderungen sehr angetan bin. Besonders gefallen mir die Tabs beim schreiben von Post/Seiten, damit kann man nämlich jetzt ganz fix zwischen der WYSIWYG und der Code Ansicht umschalten, was sich wenn man öfter ein Youtube Video einbettet glaube sehr schnell von Vorteil erweist.

Es gibt natürlich noch vielmehr neue Sachen (dreist kopiert zitiert von wordpress.org):

• Autosave makes sure you never lose a post again.
• Our new tabbed editor allows you to switch between WYSIWYG and code editing instantly while writing a post.
• The lossless XML import and export makes it easy for you to move your content between WordPress blogs.
• Our completely redone visual editor also now includes spell checking.
• New search engine privacy option allows you take you to indicate your blog shouldn’t ping or be indexed by search engines like Google.
• You can set any “page” to be the front page of your site, and put the latest posts somewhere else, making it much easier to use WordPress as a content management system.

• Pages can now be drafts, or private.
• Our admin has been refreshed to load faster and be more visually consistent.
• The dashboard now instantly and brings RSS feeds asynchronously in the background.
• Comment feeds now include all the comments, not just the last 10.
• Better internationalization and support for right-to-left languages.
• The upload manager lets you easily manage all your uploads pictures, video, and audio.
• A new version of the Akismet plugin is bundled.

Ich teste gerade stikkit, das ist ein Online Pim Tool. Natürlich alles schön Web 2.0 mit Ajax und Beta sowieso.

Das ganze funktioniert so das man ganz viele Postits hat die man mit Todos, Terminen und Personen füttert. Okay ich hört sich noch nicht so toll an, aber es wird analysiert was man eingibt und es werden dann automatisch daraus die richtigen Stikkits erstellt.

z.B. Termin mit Erinnerung

Was ich aber noch cooler finde ich das man sich die stikkits auch mailen kann, d.h. man mailt an seinen stikkit account und daraus wird dann automatisch ein stikkit generiert.

Für alle die das zu kryptisch fanden, auf der Website gibt es auch ein paar Screencast die das noch mal alles erklären

ich muss zugeben das ich mit iTerm nie so richtig zufrieden gewesen bin, aber die Tabs hatten schon was. Hey aber sowie immer Apple bekommts auch irgend wann mit und in Leopard gibts dann endlich Tabs im Terminal.

Ach ja alle die Terminal oder auch iTerm oft benutzen sollten sich mal visor anschauen, das ist von blacktree (die von quicksilver) und damit bekommt man ein Terminal den man per Hotkkey aufrufen kann und der liegt dann vor allen Fenstern.

sondern auch die Kommentarspammer, deswegen habe ich ihr gestern mal das Math Comment Spam Protection Plugin installiert. Das hat bis jetzt super funktioniert, aber als ich mir gerade mal die Statistik angeschaut habe ist mir aufgefallen, das die Spammer es jetzt noch hartnäckiger versuchen.

Die Kommentar PHP Datei hat mehr als doppelt so viele Zugriffe als die Haupseite und

die Zugriffe sind seit Gestern auch sprunghaft angestiegen.

Aber bis jetzt hat es kein Spam Kommentar geschafft durch zukommen und wenn dann ist da noch Akismet.

ich verstehe ja wenn in Kommentaren für irgendwelche Produkte geworben wird (was nicht heißt das ich das hier toleriere). Was ich aber nicht verstehe ist warum man Kommentare mit sinnlosen Buchstabenfolgen macht und dann auf die Googlesuche nach diesen verlinkt.

vielleicht sind aber xuqndzdr und rdkgzwlp die neuen krassen web 2.0 dienste die nur noch keiner kennt. Die Domains sind jedenfalls noch zuhaben.
